For years it lived on the 'someday' list, and someday is where good intentions go to die quietly. You finally went, and the world did not end and the work survived without you. Now you know: the deferral was never about money or time. Let this be proof of how much living is waiting behind the word 'later.'
Your Practice
- List three other things you keep saying 'someday' about. Pick the nearest one.
- Put a real date on it this week. A wish without a date is just a regret in waiting.
- Tell someone the date out loud so it becomes a commitment, not a daydream.
- Remember how this trip felt versus how the waiting felt. Let that settle it.
